Marco Gliori
Community Representative
Marco Gliori, Councillor on the Southern Downs Regional Council, is a long term resident of Warwick.
Marco graduated from Warwick State High and went on to serve ten years in the Qld Police Service attaining the rank of Detective Senior Constable.
Taking the road less travelled, Marco left the service, and for the past thirty years has earned a living as a Performance Poet and Entertainer at major festivals whilst also developing and conducting creative writing workshops for schools.
Marco enjoys celebrating the characters and landscapes that make up The Southern Downs, and displays an obvious passion for his community, hence his enthusiasm when asked to join the SDIEA team.
