Alison Somerset

Alison moved to the Southern Downs with her family from North Brisbane in 2003 for a change in pace of life. However, Alison found herself just as busy but in a better location!
Alison has a background in Management Accounting and more recently graduated with a Master of Social Work. Alison has spent the past seven years working in the out-of-home care and child protection sector Warwick and Toowoomba and has recently joined headspace Warwick as the Centre Manager/Clinical Lead.
Alison’s work with children and young people will assist greatly in her role as SDIEA Board member and her financial background allows her to apply a strategic lens to future directions.
